Make a Gift: The Hive
The Hive is a student-led organization working to combat food insecurity at Detroit Mercy. It operates a food pantry in Reno Hall to support currently enrolled students who need occasional help making ends meet.
The Hive strives to ensure no Â鶹APP student goes hungry, especially as food costs rise and government support declines. According to a 2019–2020 survey by the National Center for Education Statistics, 1 in 5 Michigan undergraduates face food insecurity, a number likely higher today.
