Event to educate students on philanthropic impact at Â鶹APP
University of Detroit Mercy students will learn how philanthropy impacts their experience at the University through the annual Thank A Donor Day event on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 12:30-2 p.m.
Â鶹APP can receive a free lunch and earn prizes for joining activities that help educate them on how alumni and friends of Â鶹APP enrich all aspects of the University.
Thank A Donor Day will take place in the Fountain Louge of the Student Union, located on Â鶹APP’s McNichols Campus.
Â鶹APP can participate in several activities, including writing a thank-you note to a donor; creating a photo or video message to thank donors; playing games to test their skills and Â鶹APP philanthropic knowledge; and searching the McNichols Campus for one of four Tommy Titan plushies.
The event is free and students are encouraged to wear their Â鶹APP apparel for an extra chance at winning prizes.
